Brianna Smith, a senior sport and exercise psychology major minoring in counseling and leadership studies from Alexandria, Virginia, has been selected to participate in the NASPA Education Undergraduate Fellows Program.
The highly-esteemed program, sponsored by NASPA, Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education, seeks to recruit and mentor undergraduate students from traditionally underrepresented and historically disenfranchised populations that want to pursue a career in higher education.
As a fellow, Smith will have the opportunity to attend professional development events, participate in paid summer internships and receive on-campus mentoring.

“As an aspiring higher education professionals, I believe the program will help Brianna jump start her career and provide a long-lasting network,” Le said. “I look forward to working with Brianna as her mentor for the upcoming year and beyond.”
NASPA, the country’s leading association for the advancement, health and sustainability of the student affairs profession, founded the program with the intention of diversifying the field of student affairs on college campuses.
