Baseball  

The WVU baseball team came away victorious, 6-5, over TCU on Saturday at Lupton Stadium. The No. 4 seed Mountaineers will now play the No. 9 seed TCU in the Big 12 Championship at 1:30 p.m. tomorrow (May 21) at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas.

Blippi  

The new production will feature musicians playing live onstage, and vivacious, energetic and educational antics beginning at 6 p.m. Sept. 30 at the Canady Creative Arts Center. Blippi inspires curiosity in preschoolers around the world by creating content and experiences that are relatable, accessible and make learning fun.

Evansdale Campus  

To accommodate annual enhancements, repairs and testing to the University’s steam infrastructure, the Facilities Management team is working with the steam provider for WVU on three planned steam outages.

Phi Beta Kappa 2024  

Thirty-seven graduates were inducted as lifelong members into the WVU Chapter of Phi Beta Kappa, a national honor society that recognizes outstanding achievement in the liberal arts and sciences and the championing of freedom of thought.

Physical Activity Symposium Graphic  

The 2024 WV Physical Activity Symposium — Uniting Leaders for an ActiveWV will be held from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. May 29 at Stonewall Resort State Park. The symposium, hosted by ActiveWV and the West Virginia Department of Health, aims to foster collaboration and action towards a healthier West Virginia.
