Alumni, students and partners are invited to celebrate 55 years of the Public Administration Program during a network mixer and banquet beginning at 6 p.m. April 27 at Hotel Morgan. Attendees will enjoy dinner and sharing memories while key staff and alumni are highlighted.

The Department of English within the Eberly College of Arts and Sciences has launched two undergraduate degree programs for students interested in pursuing careers as writers, editors or researchers — a bachelor’s of science degree in scientific and technical writing, and a bachelor’s of arts degree in professional writing and editing.
WVU will host “Build It Back Better with Wood: Connecting Urban and Rural Communities with Innovation” from 12:15-4:30 p.m. Wednesday (April 17) and April 18 at the Erickson Alumni Center, Room 203 and on Zoom. Presenters and attendees will explore the potential of wood products in infrastructure applications, energy savings, carbon sequestration and waste reduction.
Hearts of Gold, housed in the Davis College of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Design, will be able to expand its operation to provide more service dogs to Veterans in need as a result of an anonymous gift received during the seventh annual WVU Day of Giving.
