The Morgantown Community Orchestra, supported by the School of Music's Community Music Program, will present its Spring Concert Saturday (April 28). The 5 p.m. concert is free and open to the public, and will be held in the Lyell B Clay Concert Theatre of the WVU Creative Arts Center.

TEDxWVU is seeking student volunteers to help organize the second annual TEDxWVU event. This full-day event will be highlighting ideas presented by individuals from WVU and communities within West Virginia.

More than 40 students from fashion, dress and merchandising are participating with five downtown Morgantown retail businesses creating window displays as a part of an international event, Fashion Revolution Week, which marks the anniversary of the collapse of the Rana Plaza building in Bangladesh.

 

With finals week quickly approaching, join the Peer Advocates Thursday (April 26) from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Mountainlair for self-care selfies, hugs and positive message spreading.

 

The WVU Symphony Orchestra will perform at the Creative Arts Center on Thursday (April 26) at 7:30 p.m. The orchestra will perform “Symphony No. 2 in D Major” by Johannes Brahms.
