The Morgantown Community Orchestra, supported by the School of Music's Community Music Program, will present its Spring Concert Saturday (April 28). The 5 p.m. concert is free and open to the public, and will be held in the Lyell B Clay Concert Theatre of the WVU Creative Arts Center. The Orchestra, under the direction of André Januario, is a group of area amateur and professional musicians, college students, middle school and high school students, who rehearse, once a week, to share their love of music-making. This concert will feature light sprightly music by Bizet, Faure, Gliere, Mozart, Massenet and Vaughan Williams. A reception, with opportunity to meet the performers, will immediately follow the concert.
