More than 40 students from fashion, dress and merchandising are participating with five downtown Morgantown retail businesses creating window displays as a part of an international event, Fashion Revolution Week, which marks the anniversary of the collapse of the Rana Plaza building in Bangladesh. More than 1,130 garment workers died and another 2,500 were injured, making it the fourth largest industrial disaster in history.
The window displays will promote the store as well as raising awareness by educating the public on ethical/sustainable fashion.
