The Office of WVU Veterans Affairs and the Davis College Veteran Professional Organization will host Veterans Welcome Back Weekend for student veterans Aug. 24 and 25. The event is made possible through the generous support of Adventure WV, Boeing and various departments across the University, as well as local businesses.
FallFest, West Virginia University’s annual welcome-back-to-campus concert will be held tomorrow (Aug.14) on the Evansdale Rec Fields adjacent to the Student Rec Center. This year’s performers are Lil Yachty, Brothers Osborne and MisterWives. Gates will open at 4 p.m. and the show will begin at 5 p.m.
The Council for Women’s Concerns announces the annual Women of Color Luncheon will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, October 3, in the Mountainlair Ballrooms. The luncheon is an attempt to inspire the campus and the community. This year, the luncheon will welcome WVU alumna Ifeoma Ike as the keynote speaker. Tickets will go on sale on Monday (August 13).
The journey toward life-long passion and purpose begins this week as West Virginia University welcomes 6,650 new students to its campuses in Morgantown, Beckley and Keyser for the 2018-19 academic year.
The Trademark Licensing Office invites all departments and student organizations to a Licensee Fair Aug. 28 from 12:30 to 4 p.m. in the Mountainlair ballrooms. All of the invited vendors are licensed to produce WVU branded products. This is an opportunity to meet with licensees you have previously worked with, meet new licensees and to see various products they are offering.
