Supervisor Training is back. Learn more about the supervisor “do’s and don’ts” by attending Supervisor Essentials. Held quarterly, we’ll cover topics that are transactional in nature and important to every supervisor. The theme for the day is Fostering a Fair and Ethical Work Environment

Recently, the federal government has enacted changes that can affect foreign nationals in the United States. Most notably, the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services, has fundamentally changed its policy regarding triggers of unlawful presence.

The Office of Global Affairs is hosting the Education Abroad Fair Sept. 12 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Mountainlair Ballrooms. The event bring faculty leaders, affiliated providers and education abroad regional coordinators together to help students find the program that works best for them

The Center for Service and Learning will host a series of workshops, presentations and networking events with a goal of increasing the breadth and quality of academic community engagement at WVU. The series includes information about the upcoming renewal of the Carnegie Community Engagement Classification, information for advisors, faculty and graduate students.

Women of Color Luncheon  

The Women of Color Luncheon is one of several events during WVU’s annual Diversity Week, held this year Sept. 1 – Oct. 6, and sponsored by the Division for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. The luncheon is now a sold-out event and will welcome WVU alumna Ifeoma Ike as the keynote speaker Oct. 3 at 11:30 a.m. in the WVU Mountainlair Ballrooms.
