The Office of Graduate Education and Life will host a Professional Development Workshop for Faculty Relationships Oct. 26 from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. in room 120 of the Advanced Engineering Research Building across from the Evansdale Library.
Donations of new or gently used clean coats, gloves, hats and scarves are being collected to help WVU Employees and their families stay warm this winter. Look for donation boxes around campus.
The Eberly Writing Studio will present a free workshop titled “Technical Writing I: Clarity & Concision” Oct. 23 from 3-4 p.m. in Evansdale Library Room 130. This session introduces both undergraduate and graduate students to technical writing.
Humanities Writer-in-Residence Ann Pancake will deliver a lecture titled "Double Vision: Imagining Forward through the Binocular Lens of Appalachia and Academia." The talk will be held Oct. 22 at 7 p.m. in the Milano Reading Room of the Downtown Campus Library.
Volunteers will meet at Hazel Ruby McQuain Amphitheater and spend time cleaning up Adventure WV's adopted section of the Rail Trail. This will entail picking up trash and recyclables, as well as sprucing up the area by moving downed branches, etc. Enjoy a relaxing evening spent along the river Nov. 1, 3 -6 p.m.
