Featuring a panel with a wealth of leadership experience at WVU and around the country, the event which is part of the David C. Hardesty, Jr. Festival of Ideas will provide a fascinating look at changes in higher education and how West Virginia University fits into this landscape.

President Gordon Gee and a host of West Virginia authors will talk about their work Friday (Dec. 7) at 10 a.m. in the Charles Wise Library Atrium. Gee will be joined by co-author Stephen Gavazzi; the two wrote the recently published “Land-Grant Universities for the Future: Higher Education for the Public Good.”

The Morgantown Police Department will begin altering traffic patterns today (Dec. 3) at 4:45 p.m. for the annual Christmas Parade. Parking will be restricted on High, Prospect and North High Streets beginning at 5 p.m. The parade will begin at 6:30 p.m.
