The University community is invited to “A Celebration of West Virginia and West Virginia University Authors” today (Dec. 7) at 10 a.m. in the Charles C. Wise Library Atrium on the downtown campus. Dean of WVU Libraries Karen Diaz will host the event which will include book signings.

Friday (Dec. 7)— a “date which will live in infamy”—marks the 77th anniversary of the bombing of Pearl Harbor. WVU, along with local community organizations, will honor Americans who fought on this day with a remembrance which begins at 9:30 a.m. at the USS West Virginia mast and bell.
Poinsettias will be on sale in the WVU Greenhouse from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. Dec. 7-8, Dec. 14-15 and Dec. 21-22.
The Art Museum of WVU announces the next program in its Lunchtime Looks series for the 2018-19 academic year. This month’s presentation will take a behind the scenes look at Collections Management and the presenter will be Karen Louvar, registrar at the Art Museum of WVU.
