Join us Friday (Feb. 22 at 7 p.m. for a screening of "hillbilly" in the Gluck Theater (Mountainlair). After the screening, participants will have a chance to talk with filmmakers Ashley York and Sally Rubin, and novelist Silas House.

Faculty should encourage their students to attend the workshop Wednesday (Feb. 20) from 7-8 p.m. in the Mountainlair Laurel Room. All students can attend.
Hosted by the Teaching and Learning Commons, this workshop will take place March 7 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Room 104 of the downtown library. Lunch will be served. Transgender Safe Zone Training will be held Thursday (Feb. 21) from 9 - 11 a.m. in the Blackwater Room at the Mountainlair. The WVU LGBTQ+ Center provides Transgender Safe Zone training to all interested faculty, staff and students.
Join us for a reading of “Southernmost” from author Silas House Thursday (Feb. 21) at 7 p.m. in the Milano Reading Room at the Downtown Library.
The four finalists vying for the title to represent the student body as the 67th West Virginia University Mountaineer Mascot come from a variety of academic backgrounds and are involved in an array of extra-curricular activities. All West Virginia natives, they will compete wearing buckskins and carrying the rifle in a cheer-off held during the men’s basketball game vs. Kansas State tonight (Feb. 18) at 9 p.m. in the WVU Coliseum.
