Life Hacks: Let's talk about the big S—sleep

An illustration of a calendar representing the Events category of E-News.

Do you find your students getting sick easily, falling asleep in class, gaining weight, being irritable, or unable to handle stress? These are just a few of the many things that poor sleep can cause. College students have a lot of things to balance from assignments, to social life, to work, and many other things, so it comes to no surprise that many college students struggle to get enough sleep. This Life Hack will not only provide students with information about sleep, but also help them identify the signs of poor or inadequate sleep, and tips and tricks to get a better night’s sleep. Faculty should encourage their students to attend the workshop Wednesday (Feb. 20) from 7-8 p.m. in the Mountainlair Laurel Room. All students can attend.
