After 50 years of service to WVU, Caulton (Carl) Irwin will retire March 31. The university community is invited to join in celebrating his achievements and wishing him well Friday, April 5, from 4-6 p.m., first floor lobby at the National Research Center for Coal and Energy, 1272 Evansdale Drive.
The WV Family Nutrition Program provides nutrition education to low income audiences across the state with funding from the USDA Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program Education (SNAP-Ed) and Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP). The program teaches children about healthy choices for their body.
Several Big 12 teams will compete at WVU March 28-30. And even though the teams will spend a substantial amount of time at Milan Puskar Stadium, this is an academic competition — not an athletic one.
Join the State Treasurer’s Office and WVU Center for Excellence in Disabilities April 5 for a WVABLE Community Awareness and Information Event. WVABLE, or Achieving a Better Life Experience, allows qualified individuals with disabilities to open a tax-advantaged savings account without the risk of losing resource based benefits such as SSI, Medicaid, and Title XIX Waiver.
