Join the State Treasurer’s Office and WVU Center for Excellence in Disabilities April 5 for a WVABLE Community Awareness and Information Event. WVABLE, or Achieving a Better Life Experience, allows qualified individuals with disabilities to open a tax-advantaged savings account without the risk of losing resource based benefits such as SSI, Medicaid, and Title XIX Waiver.
Community members can learn more about the WVABLE Program, enroll on site, and speak to community agencies that assist people with disabilities in all areas of life. The event is being held at the Health Science Center in the Pylons Area from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
