Junior Ginny Thrasher will represent the United States at the 2017 International Shooting Sport Federation World Cup Final for Rifle/Pistol, this week at the Dr. Karni Singh Shooting Range, in New Delhi, India. A native of Springfield, Virginia, Thrasher will compete in the women's 10m air rifle competition on Thursday (Oct. 26) at 2:30 a.m. EST.

The Big 12 Conference has announced that WVU's Saturday, Nov. 4, Big 12 Conference football game against Iowa State at Milan Puskar Stadium, will be televised on ESPN2 or ESPNU at 3:30 p.m. ET. The television network will be selected later this week. The matchup with Iowa State has been designated as Military Appreciation Day and Family Day, presented by Shoney's. Fans can purchase a Family Day package of four tickets and a $25 concession voucher for $200.
The West Virginia University men's basketball team will host a charity exhibition game, presented by Coca-Cola, against Albany inside the WVU Coliseum on Saturday, Oct. 28 at 7:30 p.m. All proceeds will be donated to the American Red Cross' hurricane relief efforts.
