The VISTA Collaborative at WVU is bringing Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week to Morgantown Nov. 20 at 123 Pleasant Street with the "Fighting Hunger in Almost Heaven" Benefit Concert. The event features musical acts from local favorites Tanagra, Nae Paugh Official, Intoxicated Zen and The Spiritual Underground.
Employees who are planning to retire from WVU should not miss this opportunity to learn about retiree benefits. Topics include retirement eligibility guidelines, retiree health insurance options, eligibility to use sick leave/or faculty service credits, income options available, retirement savings plans available and Medicare enrollment requirements.

The TIPS program, held Nov. 20 in the Mountainlair Shenandoah room from 6-9 p.m., teaches students how to prevent alcohol-related problems. In this free training, students will learn specific strategies and skills for intervening in alcohol-related situations that may develop on campus.
Students, faculty, staff and the general public should donate their items to the first floor of Mountaineer Station today (Nov. 4) through Nov. 14. The collection site will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday-Friday.
