More than 15 WVU staff, students and alumni will participate in this weekend’s reading of “ELVIS: The Musical,” hosted by West Virginia Public Theatre. The reading will take place at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 25 and at 2 p.m. Jan. 26 in the Gladys Davis Theatre at the Creative Arts Center. Admission is free, and seating is on a first-come-first-served basis.

These one-on-one lessons are 30-minutes long and will be held around your own schedule. Registration opens Jan. 21, closes April 9 and you can register at the SRC Welcome Desk. Lessons are available for those ages 3+.
The Association for Experiential Education is hosting its Regional Conference March 27-29 at the West Virginia Outdoor Education Center. The Mid-Atlantic region unifies individuals from a variety of fields; school and colleges, museums, therapeutic recreation centers, camps, conference centers and outdoor recreation venues.
The first Menstrual Equity Coalition meeting will be held Jan. 27 at 6 p.m. in the Mountainlair Laurel Room. Individuals and groups are invited to join us to share ideas collectively, organize and tackle menstrual equity issues.
Chris Ivey, a documentary filmmaker whose work challenges audiences to think more broadly and inclusively on issues like race, class and gentrification, will talk about his work “Finding Beauty in the Raw,” Jan. 27 at 5 p.m. in the Rhododendron Room at the Mountainlair.
Learn how to belay at the climbing wall this spring. During the belay course you’ll learn how to climb indoors, basic rope and climbing skills.
