The Association for Experiential Education is hosting its Regional Conference March 27-29 at the West Virginia Outdoor Education Center. The Mid-Atlantic region unifies individuals from a variety of fields; school and colleges, museums, therapeutic recreation centers, camps, conference centers and outdoor recreation venues.
Conference sessions will include presentations on experiential education, educational theory and design, recent research, outdoor program development, innovative program developments and the industry’s best standards. If you’re interested in presenting, we will choose five keynote speakers to talk about their connections to health and nature for 5-8 minutes during the conference. If you want to get involved in other ways, we are looking for volunteers to join the service crew, too.
