Ceili McCabe  

Senior Ceili McCabe with the cross country team earned the Big 12 Cross Country Championships crown for the third time Friday (Nov. 1) after finishing with a personal and program best time of 19:02.60 in Waco, Texas. McCabe’s conference win helped secure the University’s second place team finish.

Wresting  

Two-time All-American and fifth-year senior Peyton Hall (165) and sophomore All-American Ty Watters (149) combined for a 9-0 record and two titles, while redshirt sophomore Ian Bush (184) completed a 4-0 run for the Mountaineers’ third title and redshirt freshman Sasha Gavronsky (157) secured the crown within the freshman/sophomore division.

Women's Soccer  

The No. 3-seed women’s soccer team lost a double-overtime match, 1-0, to Kansas in the quarterfinals of the 2024 Sprouts Farmers Market Big 12 Championship Saturday (Nov. 2) at CPKC Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri. The NCAA Division I Women’s Soccer Tournament Selection Show is Monday (Nov. 11).

The Faculty Senate will meet at 3:15 p.m. Monday (Nov. 4) in the College of Law, Fitzsimmons Event Hall.
