Making the leap from course-level to program-level assessment is not as difficult as it may sound. Presenters Lou Slimak and Robynn Shannon will explain what is needed for assessment of academic programs, the logistics of pulling together the pieces and how assessment results can be used to improve program effectiveness.

Participants in Motivation, Privilege and Power in the Classroom (April 2 from 10 a.m. to noon in Room 104, Downtown Library) will have the opportunity to examine their course language, policies and assessments, as well as formulate strategies to enhance their students' motivation to learn.
The Center for Service and Learning will host a Social Action Showcase and Challenge as a part of the IDEA Hub Demo Day at the Coliseum April 24. Faculty involved in community-engaged learning are invited to share these opportunities with individual students or teams.

The online hybrid MBA students will participate in a spring residency combining crisis management press briefings and WV Forward casework in a three-day experience. Elizabeth Oppe, along with special guest Rasheed Marshall, will lead the crisis management piece.
