WVU Vice President for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Meshea L. Poore, Esq. is the new president of the Big 12 Association of Diversity Officers in Higher Education. The president of the Association is tasked with leading the chief diversity officers of all Big 12 member institutions in discussions and initiatives that will impact the direction of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion policies and practices across the conference.

To better understand the increasing number of people who are fully vaccinated for COVID-19, West Virginia University is asking all students, faculty and staff to verify their vaccination with the University this summer. By verifying your vaccination, you’re doing your part to create a safe campus community and help us open up more parts of campus this fall.
Due to an unexpected steam line issue below the road, the City of Morgantown has closed Rawley Avenue, which is located on the Evansdale area of campus between Lincoln Hall and the Towers residence halls.
To accommodate enhancements, repairs and testing to WVU’s steam infrastructure, the Facilities Management team is working with WVU’s steam provider on a planned steam outage Sunday, June 6, through Saturday, June 12 at 6 a.m.
Effective July 1, any WVU employee who has not used all available floating holiday hours through Applaud will forfeit those hours. The hours will be removed from the employee’s available floating holiday balance in the system.
