The WVU community is invited to an open house for former Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs Maryanne Reed who is set to retire at the end of year after serving the University for more than three decades. The drop-in event will be held from 3-5 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 12, in Stewart Hall. Remarks will be given at 4 p.m.

The Collegiate Recovery Lunch and Learn Series will host “From Surviving to Thriving: Mastering Stress, Focus and Self-Care During High-Stress Periods” from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday (Dec. 3) in the Mountainlair, Mountaineer Room.
The former prisoner of war and retired U.S. Army soldier will speak on her survival and rescue during the 2003 invasion of Iraq at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday (Dec. 3) in the Mountainlair, Gluck Theatre.
