The Faculty Senate will meet at 3:15 p.m. Monday (Nov. 3) in the College of Law Fitzsimmons Event Hall. Meetings are open to the University community and may be joined in person or viewed live on YouTube.

More than 300 teams of K-12 students will test their custom-engineered enclosures by dropping pumpkins 11 stories from the roof of the Engineering Sciences Building roof from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday (Oct. 31).

Faculty, staff, students and the public are invited to attend a film screening of “Freeland — A Blackwater Story” at 7 p.m. Nov. 6 in the Media Innovation Center. Directed by Justin Harris, the film explores the history of the Blackwater River in West Virginia’s Monongahela National Forest, and the kayaking community that has developed around it.

Hosted by FirstGen Initiatives, the Department of Chemistry, and First2 STEM Network, STEM Movie Night will offer three different movies for attendees to pick from starting at 6 p.m. Wednesday (Oct. 29).
