Faculty and staff are invited to join President Gee and the Mountaineer Mascot from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday (Aug.17) for the Student Rec Center 20th Anniversary Celebration, which includes a ribbon-cutting ceremony for new and renovated courts at the Evansdale Residential Complex.

Glen P. Jackson, Ming Hsieh Distinguished Professor of Forensic and Investigative Science at WVU, will appear in an episode of Forensic Files II at 10:30 p.m. Sunday (Aug.15). The episode covers the wrongful conviction of Jason Lively, who served 14 years in prison for murder and arson.

Visitors, including students, 4-H’ers, alumni and others are invited to find their path to WVU during the State Fair of West Virginia Aug. 12-21 in Fairlea. WVU Extension Service and WVU will bring the gold and blue to the fairgrounds, including livestock exhibits, outstanding 4-H projects and educational activities.
