The Morgantown Police Department will alter traffic patterns today (Sept. 21) beginning at 5 p.m. for the University High School Homecoming Parade. Parking will also be restricted on High and Prospect Streets beginning at 5 p.m.
The Wednesday (Sept. 22) Monthly Customers’ Group Meeting will discuss the hiring process as it relates to students and other non-benefits eligible employees, how to start the process and what happens after the process begins. To accommodate various schedules, we will host the meeting at noon and 4 p.m.
The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at WVU will host a virtual open on Wednesday (Sept. 22) from 3-4:30 p.m. on Zoom and YouTube.
The Morgantown Community Orchestra is excited to return to in-person rehearsals and performances this year. Registration is open until Sept. 25 and community members are invited to join our musicians and the MCO director Alyssa Schwartz for a play-in on Sept. 25.
The WVU Humanities Center welcomes all faculty, staff, students and community members to join WVU alum and West Virginia native James Tate Hill for a reading from his new memoir “Blind Man’s Bluff” Sept. 27 at 7 p.m. in the Mountainlair Gold Ballroom.
