Your child is invited to join Campus Recreation for a night of Valentine’s Day-themed activities from 5-8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 7, at the Student Rec Center.
Dance couples composed of faculty, staff and students are invited to compete for the coveted Mirrorball Trophy at 7 p.m. Feb. 21 in the Mountainlair Ballrooms. Participants can either sign up with a partner or be randomly paired with another dancer.
Children ages 1 to 17 will receive free dental exams, radiographs, fluoride application and other needs, as determined by the provider, on Friday, Feb. 7, at the WVU Dental clinic at Suncrest Towne Centre. Appointments are limited.
The WVU community is invited to tour the Center’s new location and meet its staff while enjoying refreshments and participating in fun activities from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday (Jan. 28) in Field Hall, Room 3217.
The training is designed to help attendees better understand the process of recovery, confront stigma related to addiction and utilize appropriate language when discussing substance use and eating disorders.
