The series will open with “Pulsars: Nature’s Finest Clocks” featuring Duncan Lorimer, Eberly Distinguished Chair for Academic Excellence and professor of physics and astronomy, at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 17 in the WVU Planetarium and Observatory.

WVU Jackson’s Mill invites people of all ages to experience history and heritage events like milling, blacksmithing, fiber arts, hearth cooking demonstrations and more from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 18.
