Get over Hump Day with some great Research Week events today (April 9). Herbarium open house, talk on how to find scholarly sources for your research, HSC Core facilities open house, talk on finding Foundation and Corporation funding, film screening and discussion around American Indian transracial adoptions.

3-Minute Thesis Finalists  

Ten doctoral students will compete at 6 p.m. tomorrow (April 10) in the Mountainlair Ballrooms as faculty and staff members judge for first, second and third place winners. The WVU community is also invited to attend and vote for the People’s Choice Award.

The Regional Research Institute and the Department of Economics will co-host a seminar featuring Adam Scavette, an economic advisor in the community development group at the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Friday (April 11) in Reynolds Hall, Room 5201.
