WVCTSI’s Clinical and Translational Research Seminar Series will host its final sessions focusing on effectively engaging the community in a research agenda. Dr. Sally Hodder, WVCTSI director and associate vice president for clinical and translational science, will present, “Strategies for Developing and Engaging a Successful Community Advisory Board” April 12 from noon to 1 p.m. in room 201 of the WVU Health Sciences Center Erma Byrd Biomedical Research Building.

This talk, Tuesday (April 9) from 12:30 - 1:30 p.m. in 325 Brooks Hall, provides an overview of the Python Spatial Analysis Library.The original motivation for and development of PySAL are described, and the current and future plans for the library are outlined.
Weichao Tu, an assistant professor of physics in the WVU Department of Physics and Astronomy, has been named a 2019 Cottrell Scholar. She has received $100,000 in funding alongside the award to further her development of a new space science learning module.
