The Teaching and Learning Commons’ annual Celebrate event returns online Wednesday, May 11, with the theme “Student Success: It’s Not Just One Thing!” Intended for all instructors, this event is designed to showcase teaching, learning, and research efforts and accomplishments.

Next week, the Office of the Provost will round out its monthly Campus Conversations focused on academic transformation initiatives. The fifth and final session, “Academic Transformation: Intercollegiate Incubator and Semester Wrap-Up,” is scheduled for Thursday, May 12, at 11 a.m. This session will be virtual only.
The Teaching Learning Community’s last session for the academic year will focus on a “how to” approach for personal branding for academics, including ideas and tips for creating a teaching portfolio and writing a teaching statement today (May 2) from 11 a.m. to noon.
Donations will be accepted starting today (May 2) for WVU’s annual Blue and Gold Mine Sale. The sale is a long-time partnership of WVU and the United Way to provide a second life to donated goods in a yard-sale like event while raising money for the local United Way.
West Virginia University Police will participate in National Prescription Drug Take Back Day on Saturday (April 30). A medication disposal kiosk will be available all day in the lobby of the headquarters for WVU Police, 992 Elmer Prince Drive, Morgantown.
WVU joins the International Association of Administrative Professionals to recognize the unique skills of our administrative professionals during National Administrative Professionals’ Day today (April 27).
