The 36-hour U92 “Pledge Your Love to the Moose” drive continues through the day today (Feb. 14). Funds raised will go toward equipment for new studio facilities at the University’s student radio station located in the WVU Student Media building.

West Virginia University has been reaffirmed as an R1 university, the highest possible research ranking, in the 2025 rankings by the American Council on Education and the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching released today (Feb. 13). After three decades of teaching, research and service at WVU, Associate Provost for Graduate Academic Affairs Richard Thomas has announced his retirement from the University, effective June 30. An internal search for his replacement will begin immediately.
