The WVU Retiree Association will hold a blood drive in conjunction with the American Red Cross on Thursday, June 9, from noon-5 p.m. in the Nutting Gallery of the WVU Erickson Alumni Center.

After a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic, WVU Extension is excited to announce the return of Junior Firefighter Camp. Scheduled for Saturday, June 18 through Thursday, June 23 at the State Fire Academy at WVU Jackson’s Mill in Weston, this camp prepares the next generation of firefighters and emergency operations personnel by placing youths in the heart of the action. The deadline to register is Friday, June 3.

The West Virginia Collegiate Initiative to Advance Healthy Campus Communities and WVU will sponsor a free two-day, online Mental Health First Aid training from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 1 and 2. This two-part session is open to faculty, staff and students from WVCIA member institutions and partner organizations.
WVU Extension 4-H offers countless opportunities for 4-H’ers throughout the state to attend summer camp, from county camps to varying statewide camps, there is something for all ages. In addition to the usual overnight residential camps, some counties also offer day camps, including those targeted to younger children.
