The Back-to-School Job Fairs will be held as part of the Welcome Week activities and WVU Career Services is accepting registrations from WVU units that plan to hire student workers or Federal Work-Study students for fall positions.
The two job fairs are scheduled for Monday (Aug. 15) from noon to 3 p.m. at the Student Recreation Center and Tuesday (Aug. 16) from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Vandalia Lounge of the Mountainlair.
Participating units are encouraged to plan for both fairs to accommodate students on the Downtown and Evansdale campuses.
Supervisors with positions eligible for students are encouraged to post student employment opportunities in Handshake by emailing studentemployment@mail.wvu.edu. Handshake is the WVU career management system used to search and apply for all types of employment that all students have access to by using their WVU ID to log into the system.
