The National Junior College Athletic Association recently announced the recognition of 16 WVUPotomac State College athletes with All-Academic honors.

A fellowship from the American Bar Association is helping College of Law student Brian Bowen get important work experience this summer. Bowen is a 2019 ABA Steiger Fellow in the Consumer Protection Division of the Office of the West Virginia Attorney General in Charleston. The $6,000 fellowship is awarded to just 37 law students nationally who are interested in consumer protection and public service.

The College of Creative Arts has created the role of Assistant Dean of Student Artistic Achievement to better serve students and faculty in their artistic endeavors. Mikylah Myers, professor of violin, began the position July 1.

West Virginia University’s renowned Integrated Marketing Communications master’s degree program has implemented significant changes for the 2019-2020 academic year, including reduced tuition, fewer required courses and seven new areas of emphasis.
