Following a career-best showing in two events, senior gymnast Jaquie Tun has been named the WVU Student-Athlete of the Week, presented by University Apartments.
WVU Libraries offer many convenient services for graduate students and faculty—so convenient, in fact, that you don’t even need to be in the library to use most of them. Come to the Evansdale Library on Jan. 17 or 18 to learn how to use e-reserves, e-journals, databases, interlibrary loan and more. Both sessions run from 3-3:30 p.m. and will be held in Room G16.
As part of this series, the Humanities Center, in partnership with the Eberly College Multidisciplinary Studies and the West Virginia Humanities Council, will host "Bodies of Truth: Personal Narratives on Illness, Disability, and Medicine,"a panel discussion, Jan. 17 at 5 p.m. in the Patteson Auditorium (Health Sciences Center). Panelists Dinty W. Moore, Renee Nicholson, Matt Smith and Erin Murphy will discuss the composition, impact and reach of the book by the same name.
The PEIA Finance Board met on Dec. 20, 2018, and adopted the Governor’s recommendations to the PEIA Task Force for Plan Year 2020, which begins on July 1. Discontinuation of the Healthy Tomorrows Program along with additional plan changes have been made.
As a result of discussions between the Office of Global Affairs, the Eberly College of Arts and Sciences, the Department of World Languages, Literatures and Linguistics and the Office of the Provost, West Virginia University’s Intensive English Program will return to its original home in the Eberly College.
