Morgantown Dance, a non-profit dance studio and an official partner of the Center for Service and Learning, announces the annual Prince and Princess Friends Party Feb. 16 from 10 a.m.- 1 p.m. at the Mountaineer Mall on Greenbag Road in Morgantown.

Students eligible to receive the scholarship include dependent children of WVU, WVU Research Corporation and University Innovation Corporation benefits-eligible employees. Scholarship recipients must be enrolled as full-time, degree-seeking undergraduate students.

Groups compete in the WVU LaunchLab pitch event  

In a groundbreaking new partnership, the WVU LaunchLab Network partnered with AlphaLab Gear to hold a pitch competition for WVU students and alumni. The winner of the competition earned a coveted slot in the semi-final selection round for the AlphaLab Gear Hardware Cup, which boasts a $50,000 grand prize. The Hardware Cup’s goal is “to find and highlight the most promising physical product startups in the nation,” and West Virginia University’s innovations are very promising.

Multiple discussions about revised academic policies going into effect for the academic year 2019-20 were discussed over the fall 2018 semester. These WVU Academic Policy Changes are now finalized and will be going into place starting in fall 2019.
