This year the Gardner Winter Music Festival, held Friday (Feb. 22) and Saturday (Feb. 23) at South Middle School in Morgantown, marks its 41st year. On-stage performances run from 7 - 11 p.m. Friday and from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday.
WVU Choirs will take the stage at the Metropolitan Theatre, Downtown Morgantown (371 High St), Sunday (Feb. 24) at 2 p.m. The program, "An American Story: A celebration of 250 years of choral music in the United States,” will feature performances by all four WVU Choirs including Chamber Singers, Men’s Choir, Women’s Choir, and the Community Music Program's West Virginia Community Choir.
Physicians at the WVU Heart and Vascular Institute are encouraging members of the community to learn about heart valve disease and the importance of early detection as part of National Heart Valve Disease Awareness Day Friday (Feb. 22).

The Biostatistics Monthly Seminar Series invites students, faculty and staff to “Nuts and Bolts of being a Data Scientist,” a presentation by Akbar Esfahani, senior data scientist with Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Esfahani will visit the WVU campus Feb. 27 from noon to 1 p.m.
