West Virginia University redshirt senior quarterback and Heisman Trophy contender Will Grier was named as a semifinalist for the 82nd annual Maxwell Award, honoring the nation's Collegiate Player of the Year, as announced today by Maxwell Football Club President Mark Dianno.

A vigil is planned for 7 p.m. tonight (Monday, Oct. 29) to remember the victims of the Tree of Life Synagogue victims in Saturday’s attack in Pittsburgh. The hour-long vigil, sponsored by Jewish students at West Virginia University, will be held in Woodburn Circle and is open to the public.
