The special interest course, Introduction to Fly-Fishing, will once again be offered this spring at West Virginia University Potomac State College. Fly Fishing today is as diverse as any style of fishing. Today’s fly-fisher can target a wide range of freshwater and saltwater species, from striped bass in the Chesapeake Bay to Mako sharks off the California coast, and from sunfish to bass to muskie in freshwater rivers and lakes.

Through WVU Dental Care and WVU School of Dentistry patients can choose among multiple clinics and providers. Students, residents and faculty all see patients in separate clinics. *Both the student and resident clinics are teaching clinics.

Scopus covers research topics across all scientific and technical disciplines, ranging from medicine and social sciences to arts and humanities. Join us at the Evansdale Library, Room 130, Feb. 18, from 3 - 4 p.m., for a Research Commons Workshop to learn how to take advantage of this valuable resource.

The University community is invited to attend a colloquium presented by Dr. Angela R. Hight Walker, leader of the Optical Spectroscopy of Nanostructures project at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), on Friday, February 15, at 11:30 a.m. in G09 White Hall. Dr. Hight Walker will speak on, "Novel Instrumentation for Investigating 2D Quantum Materials."
