The University will hold a bell-ringing ceremony, coordinated by the Office of Campus and Community Life and Alpha Phi Omega, a national service fraternity, on Friday (Aug. 31) in remembrance of students Christopher Stratton, Chase Peebles, Tonya Cesa, and Jonathan Lester.

Periodic, purposeful change is a part of any improvement cycle. In this workshop, titled “Program Review: New Process, New Expectations,” Louis Slimak, director of Academic Excellence and Assessment, will discuss the latest revisions to WVU's program-review process. He will also explore the changes to requirements, the use of standardized data, the Qualtrics-based process, and institutional expectations.

To accommodate additional testing of recent software updates, the West Virginia University Personal Rapid Transit will be closed for passenger service beginning Friday (Aug. 31) at 10:15 p.m. The PRT is closed on Sundays and will remain closed on Monday (Sept. 3) in observance of Labor Day.
