Students from the School of Medicine recently completed a trip to Florence, Italy, as part of an interdisciplinary group that included students majoring in immunology and medical microbiology, neuroscience, exercise physiology, nursing, biomedical engineering and pre-pharmacy.
Thanks to a donation from the Falkowski-Harman Family, the School of Nursing Keyser Campus recently purchased a simulation game called “Friday Night at the ER” to help students practice health care scenarios in a fun and engaging way.
The School of Nursing will welcome Bernadette Melnyk as the keynote speaker at 6 p.m. Thursday, April 25, in the WVU Health Sciences Center, Okey Patteson Auditorium.

The campus community is invited to attend “Mental Health Awareness Through the Lens of Multiple Lived Experiences” from 1-2 p.m. today (April 16) in the Health Sciences Center, Room 2940B. This event is presented by the WVU Health Sciences DEI Cross-Cutting Committee.
