Nicole Stout, research assistant professor in the School of Public Health Department of Health Policy, Management and Leadership, recently co-authored a call to action for payment and workforce policies that alleviate gaps in dental and oral health care services for individuals with cancer.

School of Dentistry students and faculty were invited to participate in the Area Health Education Centers Rural Community Health Scholars Interprofessional Student Immersion event in Greenbrier County. The focus of the event is on integrating oral health into primary care curriculum.
Complementary health services and health and wellness-related information will be available from 1-5 p.m. Sunday (April 28) outside the Student Recreation Center. The two-mile Community Health Walk will begin at 2:30 p.m. and the run will begin at 3:30 p.m.
