Over the past several years, students and faculty have had a presence at the American Academy of Oral Medicine annual conference to invigorate their mission to promote overall wellness through dentistry.
Offered by the Speech, Language and Hearing Clinic, Girl’s Night Out will provide girls ages 14 to 20 with autism and developmental disabilities a chance to hone their social skills and build lasting friendships with their peers.
The School of Nursing welcomed Bernadette Melnyk as its keynote speaker as part of the Kandzari Lectureship. In addition to the lecture, student award winners and honor society inductees were recognized.
Through a new dedicated partnership between the School of Nursing and BridgeValley Community and Technical College, students will be able to seamlessly transition from their associate degree to become a baccalaureate-prepared registered nurse.
Students can experience what it’s like to be a nursing student by participating in an information session, a mock lecture and hands-on learning opportunities during this one-day camp hosted by the School of Nursing on June 1.
