Staff and faculty are invited to attend a Campus Conversation on Wednesday (April 26) focused on recent changes to the Public Employees Insurance Agency. Following a presentation outlining basic benefits and plans, key changes made after Senate Bill 268 passed during the legislative session, and the effects on the University and employees, participants will have the opportunity to submit questions as part of a live Q&A session.
Join a WVU tradition as Mary Roush passes the Mountaineer mascot rifle to Mikel Hager at 6 p.m. Friday (April 21) in the Mountainlair Gluck Theatre. Hager will begin his term as the Mountaineer mascot on Saturday (April 22) at the Gold-Blue Spring Football Game.
The talk, led by Maura McLaughlin, will introduce general audiences to the science and techniques astronomers use to study super massive black holes, pulsars, gravitational waves and more. The event, perfect for ages 10 and older, is free and open to the public.
