Campus Conversation to address PEIA updates

Staff and faculty are invited to attend a Campus Conversation on Wednesday (April 26) focused on recent changes to the Public Employees Insurance Agency. 

The virtual event will begin at 11 a.m. via Zoom. The webinar will go live approximately 10 minutes before the conversation begins. 

Following a presentation outlining basic benefits and plans, key changes made after Senate Bill 268 passed during the legislative session, and the effects on the University and employees, participants will have the opportunity to submit questions as part of a live Q&A session.

The panel will include:

  • Rob Alsop, vice president for Strategic Initiatives

  • Cris DeBord, vice president for Talent & Culture

  • Toni Christian, director, Benefits Strategy

All campuses are invited to participate, and supervisors are encouraged to allow employees to join the conversation as needs permit.

Questions may be submitted before the event to campusconversations@mail.wvu.edu.

Capacity for Zoom webinars is limited to 1,000 attendees, but an archived recording will be available for viewing after the live event at the Campus Conversations web page.
