The WVU community, family and friends are invited to celebrate thousands of spring graduates during nine Commencement ceremonies this weekend (May 16-18) at the Coliseum.
President Gordon Gee, Interim Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs Paul Kreider, Chancellor and Executive Dean for Health Sciences Dr. Clay Marsh and other University leaders are set to address the graduates.
Five honorary degrees, including one Presidential Honorary Degree, will be presented during the ceremonies.
Tickets are not required. Seating is on a first come, first served basis. The University’s Clear Bag Policy will be in effect. No signs or noisemakers are permitted.
For those not attending in person, each ceremony will be livestreamed with broadcasts beginning a few minutes prior to scheduled event starts. After the ceremonies, archived recordings will be available.

For attendees, free ceremony parking is available at the Coliseum. Members of the University Police Department will be directing traffic.
The Coliseum is ADA compliant with ADA parking in the front of the building. A valid handicap placard will be required for handicap parking. Shuttles and golf carts will be running in the parking areas.
Note that the PRT will not be an option for transportation to and from Commencement Weekend ceremonies.
