WVUniverse series kicks off this week

WVUniverse

The Center for Gravitational Waves and Cosmology will start its newest series, WVUniverse, with "The Hunt for Monster Black Holes with Pulsar Timing Arrays" at 7 p.m. Friday (April 21) in G09 White Hall. 

The talk, led by Maura McLaughlin, will introduce general audiences to the science and techniques astronomers use to study super massive black holes, pulsars, gravitational waves and more.

Trivia games and prizes will follow the talk.

The event, perfect for ages 10 and older, is free and open to the public.
