The Oklahoma at West Virginia football game scheduled for Saturday (Nov. 28) at Milan Puskar Stadium has been postponed in accordance with the Conference's game interruption guidelines. The postponement is in response to Oklahoma being unable to meet the required COVID-19 thresholds, as established by the Big 12 Conference. The conference has rescheduled the game for Dec. 12 in Morgantown and game time and television network will be released at a later time.
The 15th-ranked men's basketball team will participate in this year's Jimmy V Classic against No. 1 Gonzaga at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana, on Wednesday (Dec. 2).
The women's basketball team picked up its second win of the season on Saturday evening, as the Mountaineers defeated LSU, 62-42, at the South Point Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. With the win, WVU coach Mike Carey collected his 700th career victory of his 33-year coaching career, including the 412 that have come during his 20-year career at West Virginia.
