Josh Malencia  

Josh Malencia, who previously worked at a 400-acre horticulture and agritourism establishment and for the USDA as a harvest processing inspector in Harrison County, brings experience to his new position as the WVU Extension agriculture and natural resources agent in Monongalia County.

Mountaineer Mascot Finalists  

Four University students vying to become the 71st Mountaineer mascot will wear buckskins, a coonskin cap and carry a rifle as they compete in a cheer-off during the men’s basketball game against TCU at 9 p.m. Tuesday (Feb. 25) in the Coliseum.

Brayden McIntyre  

The WVU Police Department is taking the campus community “Behind the Badge” to introduce the dedicated police officers, campus safety officers and dispatchers who keep our University safe. Brayden McIntyre, who serves as a public safety dispatcher while pursuing his bachelor’s degree in criminology, is passionate about serving the community he grew up in.

WVU is committed to supporting flood-affected communities with care, respect and intentionality through a structured, three-phase relief effort.

Employees and students who currently use the Facilities Service Desk application to submit facility/maintenance work order requests for WVU buildings on all campuses will notice a change to the login process at fsd.wvu.edu. The service will be unavailable for approximately five minutes on Sunday (Feb. 23) while this change is being made.
